Afaq Foundation is a registered non-profit organization located in San Francisco Bay Area. Afaq Foundation serves as a scientific and humanitarian platform that works to empower vulnerable communities through education, research, healthcare, and livelihood programs.

Our vision is of an Afghanistan where every individual—especially women, youth, and vulnerable groups—has the opportunity to learn, grow, and actively contribute to community development. In this future, schools, research centers, and local initiatives are not only places of learning, but also hubs of innovation, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

Mission
Afaq Foundation supports marginalized and underserved communities by expanding access to education, research, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. Through scientific inquiry, training, and development initiatives, the organization works to:

Key Objectives
- Conduct awareness and research programs on socio-economic challenges, encouraging participation of marginalized groups in development initiatives.
- Implement projects in Primary Health Care, Family Welfare, Rural Development, and Environmental Protection.
- Strengthen academic standards through enrichment programs, mobile classrooms during winter closures, and the establishment of schools and private educational institutions.
- Provide training in technical, vocational, and scientific fields for youth and women, empowering them socially and economically through income-generating activities and leadership opportunities.
- Deliver financial, food, non-food, and emergency humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations, along with support for rehabilitation efforts.
- Expand access to safe drinking water, improve community infrastructure, and promote environmental sustainability and agricultural productivity.
- Establish technical training centres, scholarship programs (domestic and international), and research-driven educational initiatives.
- Implement reconstruction and infrastructure projects, including the rehabilitation of roads and the construction of community facilities.
- Build strong partnerships with national and international donors, NGOs, and research institutions to enhance impact and sustainability.
